== Here's a tip ==

When we're in a meeting we need to be able to communicate clearly and concisely. This lesson will teach you some useful phrases for when you're leading or participating in a meeting. First, we'll learn how to start and finish a meeting, then we'll look in more depth at some ways of making a point and interrupting politely.

"L'ordre du jour" is the plan for the meeting. It usually contains a list of the points that need to be discussed and the decisions that need to be taken.
Avez-vous tous reçu l'ordre du jour dans mon e-mail ? (Did you all receive the agenda in my email?)
Puis-je ajouter un point à l’ordre du jour ? ( Can I add a point to the agenda?)

It is very common to say "C'est tout ?" (Is it everything?) when closing a meeting. You are really asking the participants if there is anything else that needs to be discussed. You could also say:
Avons-nous oublié quelque chose ? (Have we missed anything?)
Est-ce que quelqu’un a d'autres questions ou commentaires ? (Does anybody have any other questions or comments?)

Mathéo: L’objectif de cette réunion est de revoir le nouveau processus de facturation et d’en discuter pour savoir si des changements sont nécessaires. Est-ce que tout le monde a bien reçu l’ordre du jour dans mon e-mail ?

Mathéo: The aim of this meeting is to review the new invoicing process and to discuss whether it needs changing. Did everyone receive the agenda in my email?

Elena: Pas moi. Peux-tu le partager avec moi ?

Elena: I didn't. Can you share it with me?

Mathéo: Bien sûr. Je vais le faire tout de suite. Qui voudrait bien prendre des notes ?

Mathéo: Sure, I'll do that now. Who would like to take notes?

Elena: Je vais prendre des notes.

Elena: I'll take notes.

Mathéo: Merci. Pourras-tu les partager avec tout le monde après la réunion ?

Mathéo: Thanks. Can you share them with everyone after the meeting?

Elena: Oui.

Elena: Yes.

Mathéo: D'accord, donc comme je l’ai dit, nous devons discuter du nouveau processus. À la fin de cette réunion, j’aimerais avoir quelques idées pour l’améliorer puis l’utiliser dans toute l’entreprise.

Mathéo: Ok, so like I said, we need to discuss the new process. By the end of this meeting I'd like to have some action points for improving it, then rolling it out to the whole company.
