Here's a tip

In this course we'll learn useful language for the workplace, and practise listening, reading, speaking and writing through short dialogues in which you can hear the language in context. You should already have studied some basic French in order to benefit from this course. We recommend that you have completed at least A2 level before you begin these lessons. Let's start by learning some common phrases you might use to introduce yourself on the first day of a new job.

Relationships at work in France imply some rules that we must follow in order to avoid missteps. One of the most important is about the way we address people. If it is our first day or if we are speaking to a client or to a manager, we must use "vous", which is more formal and more respectful than "tu". It is still possible to use "tu" when talking to our colleagues, but only after being asked to do so.
